TRM-Wall-Alarm

Dual role wall alarm unit.

Mode 1: Traditional audible/visual attention getter that can be mounted next to a monitoring panel or in a facility/security office to get immediate attention from the appropriate staff

Mode 2: Low cost monitoring option for 1 to 4 TRM-ALOS "Any Liquid" Optical Sensors or 1 to 4 TRM-DFS-3 Indoor Fuel Sensors.     

Mode selection is automatic based on wiring connections.

The TRM-Wall-Alarm features a loud buzzer and red LED push-button SILENCE switch. When the alarm is activated by a control panel or by a directly connected sensor, the buzzer turns on and the red LED in the SILENCE button is illuminated.    In addition, 2 SPDT (Form-C) output relays are switched to their alarm state.   Pushing the SILENCE button turns off the local buzzer but the red LED stays on and the output relays stay latched in their alarm state until the underlying condition is corrected.

The output relays are rated for 30 Vdc / 250 Vac at up to 5A.    They can be used to control additional equipment (e.g. a rotating beacon or horn) or to signal other alarm monitoring systems. One relay is normally energized so it can be used to remotely detect power loss as well as alarm conditions.

The TRM-Wall-Alarm operates on 5, 12 or 24 Vdc. (no need to pre-designate)  A 5 Vdc plug in AC adapter is included.   There is a conduit knock-out with cover for 1/2" conduit. A 2-hole cable gland is also included in the package
